The San Antonio Hospice team represents the best of the multicultural population that makes up our great city. Our physicians are in touch with the challenges of the aging population of San Antonio and are on a first name basis with many members of our community. Our Director of Clinical Services\/Administrator has a Master\u2019s Degree in Nursing, Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing, and is among the first to complete the NHPCO Compliance Training Program. Our Hospice Registered Nurses hail from backgrounds that include experience in critical care, oncology, med\/surg nursing, wound care, and intensive care as well as years of time working with patients with terminal prognoses. Our social worker brings several years of experience to the table and is an asset to the patients and the interdisciplinary team. Our Spiritual Care Coordinator is the only Jewish Spiritual Care Coordinator and Bereavement Coordinator in the city. Our Hospice Aides have bigger hearts than the great state of Texas, so maybe that is why we are off to a SUPER start after just one year!<\/p>\n<\/div>
The Austin Hospice team has over 30 years of collective hospice experience. We are able to bring both music and art therapy to our patients through our certified team members.
