Thanks to all our Michigan friends at Camp TMT 2024!

Camp TMT is a Children’s Grief Camp summer event run by THE MEDICAL TEAM Hospice staff in our Flint, Michigan branch. They provides programs and activities designed specifically for young people that have experienced the loss of a close relative or loved-one.

What Happens at Camp TMT

Campers age 6-16 joined us this first weekend of June for two days of activities, including sessions designed to provide them with constructive coping tools and help them navigate and express their emotions in a supported environment and guided by trained staff.

This year’s programs and activities included:

  • Arts & Crafts

  • Rock Climbing

  • Archery

  • Paddle Boats & Swimming

  • Scavenger Hunt

  • Camp Fire & S’mores

  • Memory Wall Story Sharing

  • Letter Writing

We are so thankful to get to know everyone who attended this year’s Camp TMT and are proud of the commitment of our dedicated team and volunteers to making this weekend such a success. Our TMT Hospice team is passionate about supporting families and especially children that have experienced loss and are honored to be a small part of helping them through this journey.
